This newest issue of The Pastor's Wife newsletter discusses a subject close to my heart: small churches.  I am a small-church pastor's wife.  As such, I understand being a pastor's wife in ways that women married to ministers in large churches never understand. I am not a figure-head.  I am not a status symbol.  People in my congregation do not watch me from afar, hoping to be noticed, wanting to join my inner circle.  There is no inner circle, we are family.
